Über das Health Care Lab

KSRI’s Research Focus Health Care Services addresses interdisciplinary application-oriented research topics for future services in the healthcare area. Our research which is developed in cooperation with partners from science and industry focusses on an efficient quality improvement of overall health care supply. We employ both qualitative and quantitative assessment methods such as mathematic modeling, machine learning or knowledge modeling placing special importance and priority on logistics processes, Well-being and doctor’s information overload.

Motivation

Demographic change and medical progress are creating an aging population leading to a constantly growing demand for medical care.	The growing demand is increasing the already existing cost pressure and a shortage of doctors and staff is aggravating the situation.
In the Health Care Lab, competences of the KSRI and the partner institutes in the field of health care are concentrated.	Interdisciplinary research and the development of holistic solutions are necessary to face the challenges.
